American Emergency & Referral Center

The Animal Emergency and Referral Center provides 24-hour emergency and critical care as an adjunct to your pet’s primary care veterinarian. Their emergency and critical care facility is designed and built to effectively handle injuries and illnesses that occur or become acute when your primary care veterinarian is unavailable. Once your pet is stabilized, they will refer you back to your veterinarian for follow-up care in much the same way a doctor in a human hospital’s emergency room would refer you back to your family’s doctor. Visit their website for more information about their services and for contact information.

Coastal Poodle Rescue

Coastal Poodle Rescue rehabilitates unwanted, abused and abandoned poodles and then places them in loving and responsible homes to live out their lives as cherished family members. Each adoptable dog is spayed/neutered, has updated vaccinations, is microchipped, tested for heartworm and other parasites, receives a thorough vet exam, and is treated, if necessary, for any known conditions found before adoption. To learn more about the organization, how you can help and to see available dogs for adoption, visit the website.
